A solo practitioner in the New York metropolitan area for 20 years, Dr. LoVerme learned from his father that the human touch can go a long way, especially when combined with the latest in medical advancements. The on-site AAAASF-accredited surgical suite is staffed by board-certified anesthesiologists and office employees that have been there nine years on average. Dr. LoVerme spends time with every new patient, learning their goals and desires, and telling them what can–and cannot–be done. He then generates a plan and computer image to reveal what the outcome of their procedure might be.
Before and after surgery, Dr. LoVerme starts most patients on spa treatments, like lymphatic drainage, massage and detox facials, as well as putting them on vitamin supplements as appropriate. “These improve the healing process,” he says. “I involve my patients in their care. I have to understand their goals and they have to understand what’s possible.
