Meet Dr. Timothy A. Treece

With a lifelong interest in the visual arts, a career in plastic surgery seemed a natural extension for Dr. Treece. As a board certified plastic surgeon, he has spent the last 16 years delivering state of the art plastic and reconstructive surgery to his patients. A cofounder of Columbus Aesthetic & Plastic Surgery, Dr. Treece was named the top cosmetic surgeon in Central Ohio in a recent doctor's "Docs rate Docs" survey of physicians in Columbus. He has been the recipient of many awards including an outstanding teaching award from the plastic surgery residents at Ohio State University. He has been recognized by The American Society of Plastic Surgeons for his work with The Plastic Surgery Educational Foundation. In addition, he has been a recipient of Consumer's Choice Awards for America's Best Plastic Surgeons.

A Columbus area native, Dr. Treece graduated from The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He performed a five year residency at The University of Texas in Houston and was the chief surgical resident at The University of Texas in Houston working both at M.D. Anderson Hospital and The Texas Heart Institute. He is a fellow of The American College of Surgeons and is certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery. He has served for the last ten years as the Chairman of Plastic Surgery at Riverside Methodist Hospital.

Dr. Treece has dedicated his career toward providing the most meticulous technically precise procedures especially toward facial surgery and aesthetic and breast cancer reconstructive surgery. His artistic background only enhances the quality of patient outcomes. While a large part of the practice involves facial rejuvenation, Dr. Treece has a special interest in providing innovative techniques for body reshaping and breast enhancement surgery.

He has been distinguished by The Allergan Corporation (makers of BOTOX' and JUV'DERM') as a member of The National Council of Leaders in Breast Aesthetics. Dr. Treece has been involved in Interplast which provides care to children in third world countries for facial cleft lip and palate repair. He is actively involved in the educational process as an associate clinical member of the faculty at The Ohio State University and enjoys his ongoing relationship with the residents and the development of new advanced surgical techniques.

Dr. Treece lives in Upper Arlington with his wife, Jill, who manages the operating room at Riverside Methodist Hospital and he enjoys a close relationship with his three sons.
