Experienced in a range of cosmetic and reconstructive procedures, Timothy P. O’Connor, M.D., F.A.C.S., is a member of our team of surgeons at the Plastic Surgery Group of Rochester. After earning his medical degree at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland, Dr. O’Connor completed a plastic surgery and general surgical residency at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. Additionally, Dr. O’Connor has received training in neck and head surgery at Roswell Park Cancer Center. Board certified in plastic surgery, general surgery, and hand surgery, Dr. O’Connor is also a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Rochester Medical Center. Ralph P. Pennino, M.D., F.A.C.S., works with the Plastic Surgery Group of Rochester as a cosmetic surgeon. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame, before going on to receive a medical degree from Georgetown University Medical School. Following his studies. Dr. Pennino completed a plastic surgical residency and hand fellowship at the University of New Mexico, general surgical residency at the University of Rochester Medical Center, and an Aesthetic Fellowship at Manhattan Eye, Ear, Nose, and Throat Hospital in New York. Board certified in hand surgery, plastic surgery, and laser surgery, Dr. Pennino is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Rochester Medical Center. Additionally, cosmetic surgeon Ralph Pennino, M.D., is currently Chief of Plastic Surgery and Associate Chief of Surgery at Rochester General Hospital. Before joining our team of highly skilled cosmetic surgeons, Dr. Mark Davenport attended the University of Wisconsin, where he received his undergraduate degree. He then earned his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin Medical School. His additional training includes a plastic surgical fellowship and a general surgical residency at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. A Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Rochester Medical Center, Dr. Davenport is board certified in general surgery and plastic surgery. Jeffrey A. Fink, M.D., graduated from Dartmouth College with a Bachelor of Arts prior to earning his medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. He completed a plastic surgery residency at Yale University, a general surgery residency at the University of Rochester, and an orthopedic hand fellowship at Brown University. Board certified in plastic surgery and hand surgery, Dr. Fink works with the other cosmetic surgeons at our practice as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Rochester Medical Center. Dr. Fink specializes in surgery of the hand and upper extremities. Andrew Smith, MD, FACS earned his Bachelor of Arts from Hamilton College and his medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. He completed the combined plastic surgery residency at the University of Rochester. He subsequently completed a fellowship in microsurgery and oncologic reconstruction at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. Dr. Smith is board certified in plastic surgery. His special interests include microsurgery, cancer reconstruction, and cosmetic surgery. Brian D. Kubiak, MD is a Rochester native and a graduate of McQuaid Jesuit High School and St. John Fisher College. He earned his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine prior to completing a general surgery residency at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. He then completed a plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. His interests include hand surgery, facial trauma reconstruction, breast cancer reconstruction, and cosmetic surgery. Julie Sylvester received her bachelor of science degree with highest honors as a Physician Assistant from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 1999. Her clinical experience includes internal medicine and general surgery prior to joining The Plastic Surgery Group of Rochester in 2001. She is board certified and experienced in the aesthetic field of injectables such as BOTOX®, Restylane, Perlane, Juvederm and Radiesse. She administers laser hair removal and skin tightening as well as treating spider veins. She is available for skin care consultations focusing on anti-aging programs. Laura Heath, CMA earned a medical assistant degree from Trident College in South Carolina and has been involved in the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery since 1994. As a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgical Nurses, she currently administers our medical tattooing as well as our bra and prosthesis program. Her role in the office includes Patient Care Coordinator, assisting our cosmetic patients in achieving their goals. Additionally, she is our clinical staff team leader. Tracy Sulli, C.M.A., is a 1993 graduate of Bryant and Stranton with a Certified Medical Assistant degree. She joined our practice in June of 2007. Tracy has the role of Post Operative Care Coordinator for cosmetic patients, as well as support with our clinical staff.
