MiRadiance Aesthetic Medical Center is led by Chicago’s renowned Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Tal Raine.

MiRadiance offers physician-supervised aesthetic medical services to help patients look their best! For body shaping we use the revolutionary, FDA-cleared VASER Lipo system, a minimally invasive liposuction procedure that sculpts specific body areas using ultrasound energy to break up fat with minimal damage to the surrounding healthy tissue.

Many other procedures may be performed either in the office setting or at near-by surgery centers under anesthesia. All are performed by our Board Certified Plastic Surgeons under stringent safety conditions and highest quality standards. Procedures performed may include breast enlargement, breast lifting, facelift and moderate lifts of the cheek and jowl, eyelid lifts, nasal surgery (rhinoplasty), brow lift, tummy tuck or mini-tummy tuck, and many other procedures.

Testi "Vaser is the way to go. You only need 2-7 days of down time, but that depends on the each single person and the area you have done... I needed about 5 days to recover. I had my arms & back done the first time and then my flanks, butt, and inner and outer thighs done the second time. My friend had his abs and man-boobs done and went back to work the next day! So it really depends on you.

Pain - Yes you feel some pain and alot of pressure, but nothing compared to traditional lipo. The results are very very pleasing, less down time and less pain. I feel fantastic and when the swelling goes down i know i am going to look fantastic. (I had my procedure done 2 1/2 days ago.) Dr. Raine made me feel very relaxed and comfortable. Qualifications

Meet Dr. Tal Raine

Dr. Tal Raine received his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from Northwestern University and completed his MD at the Medical College of Wisconsin (Marquette University) in Milwaukee. He received an undergraduate scholarship from the International College of Surgeons to study transplant and general surgery in Cambridge, England. Dr. Raine continued his training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. While there, he studied with some of the accepted leaders in the fields of Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery.

During his 25+ years of practice, Dr. Raine has performed over 7000 cosmetic and reconstructive surgeries. He specializes in cosmetic surgery including body contouring (liposuction), breast augmentation, upper and lower eyelid surgery and abdominoplasty.

As the author of four book chapters and numerous articles on various topics in Plastic Surgery he has lectured nationally and internationally. Dr. Raine volunteers his time and resources each year to travel with RaineDrops World Wide to third world countries. He is the past president of the Chicago Society of Plastic Surgeons and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Illinois Society of Plastic Surgery and the DuPage County Medical Society. He also serves as a national faculty member for Botox® Cosmetic and is on several other medical advisory boards.

Dr. Raine is board certified in Plastic Surgery and is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Plastic Surgery Educational Foundation, the Midwest Association of Plastic Surgeons, the Chicago Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.

Procedures

BODY CONTOURING USING ULTRASOUND ASSISTED LIPOSUCTION

MiRadiance Aesthetic Medical Centers specialize in body contouring using state-of-the-art VASER ultrasound assisted liposuction (UAL). UAL is a procedure to selectively remove small amounts of unwanted fat from body areas that are predisposed to fat storage even with diet and exercise.

The benefits of UAL compared to traditional liposuction are:

  • Less downtime
  • Less bruising and swelling
  • Local anesthesia (patient is awake)
  • Done in an office setting
  • Better control over the amount of fat removed
  • Small incision - little or no scarring
  • Costs less than traditional liposuction

OTHER BODY-ENHANCING SURGICAL PROCEDURES

MiRadiance Aesthetic Medical Centers offer a full complement of aesthetic surgical procedures performed by board certified Plastic surgeons in safe and economical outpatient settings. These procedures may include:

NON-SURGICAL TREATMENTS

MiRadiance offers several non-surgical injectable treatments to help smooth lines and wrinkles, and plump skin and lips.

Non-surgical treatments include the following:

  • Botox Cosmetic
    Botox is an FDA-approved purified protein that is injected between brows, into the forehead, around eyes or other facial areas to reduce fine lines by relaxing surrounding muscles.
  • Juvederm / Juvederm Ultra
    Juvederm is an FDA-approved gel made from hyaluronic acid naturally occurring in the skin that is injected to restore skin’s volume and smooth away facial wrinkles and folds such as “smile lines.” Juvederm is also used to increase volume in lips.
  • Radiesse
    Radiesse is a non-toxic, non-allergenic, FDA-approved gel filler consisting of calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres injected to smooth out deep frown lines, wrinkles, scars and nasal furrows. Radiesse can also be used to add volume to the cheekbone area, chin and other facial areas.
  • Cleft-Lip and Palate

EYELASH LENGTHENING

  • Latisse
    Latisse is the first FDA-approved eyelash growth treatment proven to increase the length and thickness of eyelashes. It is available by prescription only and 30-day kits are sold at MiRadiance.
