Sumer L. Daiza, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Sumer L. Daiza, MD, FACS, is an experienced female plastic surgeon in Arizona who is board certified by both the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery, a distinction held by few cosmetic and plastic surgeons. In addition, she completed advanced fellowship training in cosmetic surgery with Charlotte Plastic Surgery, one of the most highly respected plastic surgery centers in the country. As a testament to her outstanding surgical record and top-of-the-line patient care, Dr. Daiza was awarded with the Patients' Choice Award.

Dr. Daiza performs a wide range of cosmetic surgery procedures for the face, body and breast, including facelift, rhinoplasty, tummy tuck, liposuction, breast augmentation, breast lift and breast reduction. Dr. Daiza lends her artistic eye and advanced surgical skills to every procedure to produce beautiful, natural-looking results. One of Dr. Daiza's signature procedures is the Mommy Makeover, which helps to restore a woman's figure after the physical demands of pregnancy, childbirth and breast-feeding. The Mommy Makeover tightens, tones and reshapes the body by lifting and shaping sagging breasts along with tightening the abdomen area. A tummy tuck and breast surgery (such as a lift, augmentation or combination lift/augmentation with saline or silicone implants) are often conducted as part of the mommy makeover. During the lift and tuck procedures, Dr. Daiza may also perform liposuction on the thighs or flanks regions to remove stubborn fat deposits in order to sculpt the body to a more youthful appearance. As a result, the Mommy Makeover can help women feel more comfortable and confident after child-rearing.

Sumer L. Daiza, MD, FACS, completed her medical degree at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson, where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. She continued her education with a five year general surgery residency at the Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center and a plastic surgery residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In addition, Dr. Daiza completed a cosmetic surgery fellowship with Charlotte Plastic Surgery. Dr. Daiza has performed several research studies and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the American Board of Surgery, the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
