Qualifications

Dr. Angobaldo, a board-certified plastic surgeon licensed in the State of Texas, provides cosmetic and plastic surgery services. His office is in Plano, Texas, a suburb of Dallas, which houses a fully accredited ambulatory surgical facility. Dr. Angobaldo also has privileges at the Medical Center of Plano, and Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital of Plano.

Dr. Angobaldo is very well regarded by both patients and colleagues alike. He is known for going out of his way for his patients and extending himself in ways that surprises them. Both Dr. Angobaldo and his staff work to provide the best care they can and that is appreciated by patients and their families. The appreciation is evident in the cookie boxes and home-made fudge that his patients bring him as a thank you for the kind service and exceptional medical care they have been given.

Willing to lend his expertise, Dr. Angobaldo was featured on Good Morning Texas and is a national spokesman for the SlimLipo laser liposuction technology. Dr. Angobaldo graduated from the University of Michigan in 1996. He then attended Wayne State University where he received a Masters in Biomedical Science in 1997. He graduated with distinction from the University of Michigan School of Medicine in 2002.

His post medical training was completed at Wake Forest University Medical Center in conjunction with North Carolina Baptist Hospital. Dr. Angobaldo completed a 6 year integrated plastic surgery residency program and was thoroughly trained in all facets of cosmetic as well as reconstructive plastic surgery.

Dr. Angobaldo has authored and presented multiple scientific papers covering many areas of plastic surgery including cosmetic, reconstructive, wound healing, congenital deformities, cancer reconstruction and trauma surgeries and treatment. His works are published in various scientific journals including the Journal of Urology, Internet Journal of Burns and Wounds, and multiple published works in issues of Plastic Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Angobaldo also speaks throughout the country about laser liposuction and trains doctors nationally on the SlimLipo technology.

He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and the American Medical Association, His fellowships include NIH Summer Research Award in 1999 and a National Medical Fellowship in 2001.

Dr. Angobaldo is active in various charities and works with humanitarian organizations such as Partners of the Americas. Dr. Angobaldo has traveled to Bolivia to operate on pediatric burn patients in need of reconstructive surgery. In Haiti, in April 2010, Dr. Angobaldo helped treat patients in the only trauma center available in the area where he was. He operated on earthquake victims with chronic wounds and in need of amputation as well as the more urgent cases involving accident and crime victims. Locally, Dr Angobaldo has provided many reconstructive surgeries Pro Bono. He is already planning his next humanitarian trip.
