Mehdi K. Mazaheri, M.D.

Mehdi K. Mazaheri, MD graduated cum laude from UCLA with a B.S. in Biology. He then received his medical degree from the University of California, Irvine. Dr. Mazaheri initiated his postgraduate training at Brown University in Providence, RI where he did his internship in general surgery. He then moved to Phoenix and started his residency in general surgery at Maricopa County Hospital and became the Chief Resident.

After his residency in general surgery, Dr. Mazaheri completed his training at the University of Florida as a resident in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. While there, he published on cleft palate surgery and the biology of breast implant capsular contracture. He became a recipient of the “Outstanding Plastic Surgery Resident” which is granted annually by the Southeastern Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons.

Following eight years of extensive training, Dr. Mazaheri moved to the Valley with his wife and two children to join the medical staff of the Scottsdale Healthcare System. Later he became Chairman of Plastic Surgery at Scottsdale Healthcare Osborn and bringing his skill and expertise to his private practice. Dr Mazaheri specializes in the “Mommy Makeover” including cosmetic breast and body contouring procedures, also in post weight loss surgical patients.
