Qualifications

Dr. Sanjiv Kayastha is a board certified plastic surgeon who serves the capital district and surrounding areas. Dr. Kayastha graduated from Cornell University with distinction. He attended medical school at SUNY Buffalo. He completed his plastic surgery residency after gaining a coveted spot at the Michigan State-Grand Rapids program. After residency, he completed a fellowship in microsurgery and hand surgery at The Buncke Clinic in San Francisco. After his training at the Buncke Clinic he pursued additional training in cosmetic surgery by working with some of the top cosmetic surgeons in San Francisco.. Dr. Kayastha is Board Certified in Plastic Surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
