Welcome to the Plastic Surgery Arts and Spa's website. It is Dr. Joseph E. Mark, M.D.'s mission to provide appropriate patient care centered around the unique needs of each individual. It is a place where there are endless possibilities from surgical to non surgical approaches, as surgery is not always the solution for aesthetic services.

Plastic Surgery Arts & Spa is conveniently located in Rochester Hills, Michigan. We offer our patients a comprehensive, lifelong approach to beauty and are a complete plastic (cosmetic) surgery center that focuses on all areas of the body for improved and enhanced appearance.

Our spa and salon services offer patients pre- and post-procedure care, expert consultation on personal beauty issues and an opportunity to relax and enjoy being pampered.

All surgeries are performed by Dr. Mark, MD who is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.

Qualifications

Joseph Mark, M.D., F.A.C.S., is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon with over 20 years of practice in the Art of plastic surgery and is dedicated to providing the finest quality of medical care in cosmetic surgery. He is also a member of numerous societies and is on staff in local area hospitals.

Born in New York City, Dr. Mark attended Cornell University and went on to complete a Master's degree at Queens College in Flushing, NY. He then completed his medical degree at State University of New York In Brooklyn. This was followed by an Internship in Baltimore, MD. After general surgery residencies in Brooklyn and at Sinai Hospital of Detroit, Dr. Mark completed his Plastic Surgery residency at Providence Hospital in Southfield, MI. He is currently affiliated with William Beaumont Hospital in Troy, MI, and with Crittenton Hospital in Rochester, MI, where he has served as Vice Chief of Surgery and Chairman of the Surgical Suite Committee.

In his military service, Dr. Mark was the Assistant Division Surgeon for the 82nd Airborne at Ft. Bragg, NC. He also serves as President of the Michigan Academy. He is an active member of several other medical professional societies which facilitates his keeping up with the latest development in medicine and plastic surgery.
