Qualifications

Dr. Thomassen is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon practicing in South Florida. He was born in Santiago, Chile and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He completed his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering at Georgia Tech before returning home to obtain his medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico. His interest in surgery, artistic inclination, and analytical skills lead him to pursue training in plastic surgery at Georgetown University Hospital. He has joined the South Florida medical community as a plastic surgeon interested in reconstructive and cosmetic procedures.
