"Hello! I just wanted to let everybody know the wonderful experience I had choosing Dr. Quinn as my surgeon. About three or four years ago my friend/hairdresser had under gone a BA and was back to work on her feet in less than a week!!!! "I am 35 years old, and currently I'm on my fifth day after getting saline breast implants from Dr. John Quinn in Overland Park, KS. Needless to say, I feel nearly, NEARLY, guilty that I have felt so wonderful and experienced the augmentation with such little pain! My surgery was 1/28/05 at 7:30 a.m., and by 10:30 a.m. that morning, I was back in my hotel room, sitting up and feeling great. We went home on Saturday and I was back at work on Tuesday! I'm still a bit sore, but for the most part I feel absolutely wonderful. Dr. Quinn is amazing and the pain pump MUST be the answer! I would very highly recommend him to anyone within a 500 mile radius that can make the trip!!”

"I am 42 years old and finally came to the realization that my breasts were not going to grow -- I've been hoping and waiting this long! I had heard about Dr. Quinn from a friend, and then saw an ad in the newspaper for a free seminar. I was still a little wary, but after my initial consultation, I was ready! I had my implants on March 1, 2006 and could not be happier! Dr. Quinn is the BEST! He is a great surgeon, very knowledgeable, experienced and reputable. He is well known and respected throughout the Kansas City Metro area, both by patients and doctors. In addition to that, his bed-side manner is unequaled. He is nice, funny and genuinely sympathetic to your fears and questions. He always has time for you, as do his nurses and other office staff. He is so down-to-earth. I found out that he and my boss had gone to high school together and that he grew up just minutes from where I now live! My surgery was exactly 1 hour, and when I awoke I had very little pain. The post-op nurses were fabulous! He does his surgery at South Kansas City Surgicenter, which is owned and operated by the doctors who actually do the surgery there. Their staff is hand picked by these surgeons, and the staff definitely knows how to make you feel like a queen! I was very nervous going in, even though I've had several surgeries in the past, but they made me laugh and chatted with me, and in no time I was under! Dr. Quinn gives his patients a pain patch, which goes on each breast. It's like a TENS unit; it is a little, battery-operated patch that gives out electronic signals to the nerves to make them heal faster and take away the pain. I was off pain meds within 2 days! I had the surgery on Wednesday and went back to work on Monday. How incredible is that?? My only problem was the fact that I was still a little out of it from the anesthesia, but it was not troublesome. I love my new body and the way I look! My breasts feel natural and I love the compliments I get from others -- especially my boyfriend! …thank you, Dr. Quinn, for changing my life!!”
"I met with many doctors all over Kansas City before making my decision and decided that bedside personality was just as important to me as surgical skill. This was an elective surgery for me, and I wanted to feel good about the whole process. I had my BA (under muscle) on Dec 30th with Dr. John Michael Quinn in Overland Park, KS. He is fabulous!!! His office is state of the art, yet feels comfortable and quaint. The nursing staff makes the office visits very welcoming and Dr. Quinn is extremely pleasant and patient. He answers every question with respect and honesty. I also love his positive attitude about life!! He has a good sense of balance, which is so important for the people who you put your life in their hands. Yes, he’ll work hard to achieve your goals, but will also tell you what can and can’t be done. My left breast was smaller and hung lower naturally, so had he just plopped in an implant, those imperfections would have been magnified. He took the time to discuss what I needed done for the look I wanted. Dr. Quinn cares about his patients!!! I’ve called a number of times after my surgery for questions and he’s never once hesitated to talk to me or see me. This is very important and may tip the scales if you are choosing between 2 surgeons: Pain meds don’t have any effect on me, so I came out of surgery with only the Pain Patches (little stick on patches that are battery operated so you can move them around to the place of the pain). I tried the meds, just in case they would help, but it was a no go. I have a high tolerance for pain, and the patches really helped take the edge off. I’m 5’10”; I was an A cup, and now a C with 350cc on right and 360cc on left. The scars under my armpits will be barley noticeable. My life feels "normal” now and I almost cry thinking about how happy I am! I can wear sundresses and oxford shirts, swimsuits and tank tops – whatever I want – WITH CONFIDENCE!!! Feels so wonderful!!! I get many compliments on how natural my breasts look (and how smiley I am now) and I owe it all to Dr. Quinn!!! I recommend him to everyone!! I live in northern KC, and Dr. Quinn wasn’t the closest surgeon, but well worth the drive!!”
