Qualifications

Dr. Tebbetts grew up in Marshall, Texas, and graduated from Tulane University in New Orleans. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School in Galveston, Texas, completed 5 years of general surgery residency at the University of Utah Affiliated Hospitals in Salt Lake City, Utah and completed two years of plastic surgery residency at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. A faculty member at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical school for eight years, Dr. Tebbetts has been in private practice in Dallas, Texas, for 23 years. Considered by many colleagues to be a pioneer in plastic surgery, Dr. Tebbetts has also been recognized by several publications as being one of the best cosmetic surgeons in this country. His innovations include the anatomically shaped, cohesive gel filled breast implant, and a wide range of surgical instruments for breast augmentation and rhinoplasty.
