Readers (and patients) - not a medical board - made the decision this year and selected Dr. Jeffrey L. Wisnicki as "Simply the Best" plastic surgeon. Qualifications

Jeffrey L. Wisnicki, M.D., F.A.C.S. is a Board-Certified diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. An active member of the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, he received his training in surgery and plastic surgery at Stanford University in California with fellowship work at Dartmouth University. The author of numerous medical articles and book chapters, he graduated at the top of his class with honors and research distinction. Dr. Wisnicki has been interviewed on local and national news programs.

Dr. Wisnicki has been recognized three years in succession by Who's Who in American Health Care and Medicine and Who's Who in America. Readers of Palm Beach Illustrated selected him as Best Plastic Surgeon. He has also been selected for inclusion in the nonprofit consumer research book, Guide to Top Doctors, which lists those specialists other doctors would consider most desirable for care of a loved one.

Dr. Wisnicki's practice is limited to plastic and reconstructive surgery including cosmetic surgery of the face, breasts, and body.

Dr. Wisnicki has served in numerous hospital positions including Chief of Staff of Palms West Hospital, Chief of Plastic Surgery at Good Samaritan and St. Mary's Hospitals, Chief of Plastic Surgery at JFK Hospital, Chairman of the Department of Surgery of Palms West Hospital and Chairman of the Board of Palms West Hospital.

He has been in practice in the Palm Beaches since 1986. Dr. Wisnicki is also involved with an organization - Interplast - performing charity surgery at home and abroad for underprivileged children.
