Jason Pozner, M.D., F.A.C.S.

ASI is the brainchild of Dr. Jason Pozner who is Board Certified in Plastic Surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery. He is a Voluntary Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University Of Miami School Of Medicine and lectures regularly at Florida Atlantic University. Dr. Pozner is a member of numerous societies including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and the American Society for Lasers in Medicine and Surgery. He has authored many scientific articles and book chapters on many aspects of cosmetic surgery and has taught many physicians from throughout the world his innovative techniques. Dr. Pozner specializes in correction of problems others have encountered after previous surgery. His recognized expertise in laser techniques has led to his being invited to teach many courses to other physicians and plastic surgeons. Others visit the Institute throughout the year for hands on training.

Dr. Pozner spent his adolescence watching the benefits patients received in his father’s health spa and diet center. After attending Cornell University and the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in NY, Dr. Pozner trained at Mount Sinai, Downstate, Montefiore and Long Island Jewish Hospitals for general and plastic surgery. He then completed a cosmetic and endoscopic fellowship in Baltimore, where he had an academic appointment at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Dr Pozner lives in Boca Raton with his wife Larissa, their Westies Rambo and Conan and their flock of parrots.
