Dr. James Moore brings decades worth of tremendous skill and experience to every patient that walks through his doors...

He's more than just a plastic surgeon.

He's a physician you've grown to know and trust during his 20+ years of practice in northeast Georgia. His technique is impecable. His commitment to state-of-the-art technology is second to none.

A native of West Hartford, Connecticut, Dr. Moore received a B.A. from Duke University and an M.D. from New York University. Dr. Moore completed his internship at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia and his residencies in general and plastic surgery at Emory University Affiliated Hospitals. He is board certified in general and plastic surgery.

Dr. Moore and his wife Susan, who is a nurse, are the parents of three daughters, Katie, Gwen and Libby. Like their father, the girls are active in athletics. He enjoys such pastimes as long distance running, swimming, biking and a myriad of other sports.

Dr. Cesar A. Gumucio

Dr. Gumucio offers specialized training and compassion to the patients he treats...

With more than 15 years of experience, Dr. Cesar Gumucio's treatment philosophy centers around treating patients as family, assuring them to receive not only knowledge and expertise, but care and concern as well.

Dr. Gumucio grew up in the Midwest and attended the exclusive combined six-year MD/BA medical program at the University of Missouri at Kansas City. He completed his general surgery training at the prestigious Barnes Hospital/Washington University program in St. Louis. He remained at the same institution for his plastic and reconstructive surgery training. During that time, he researched and published articles on eyelid surgery, breast implant development, and nerve repair and healing.

Dr. Gumucio and his wife, Cindy, a registered dietitian, have two daughters, Leah and Lauren. Leah attends the University of Georgia and Lauren is a student at George Walton Academy. Dr. Gumucio enjoys running, digital photography, playing the guitar and reading in his spare time.
