"On April 2, 1998, I underwent Mons chem surgery with nasal tip and supratip defect. I was referred to James Foley M.D.; F.A.C.S. by Dr. Noel A. Hague. On April 4, 1998, an axial advancement flap was done on my nose by Dr. Foley. After graduating from the College of St. Thomas Dr. Foley earned his medical degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. He then completed a general surgery residency at Highland General Hospital in Oakland, California, followed by a plastic surgery fellowship at the Mayo Clinic.
Dr. Foley is board certified in plastic & reconstructive surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. In 1989, Dr. Foley was honored by the University of St. Thomas with its prestigious Humanitarian Award for his annual trips to Honduras, Sri Lanka and Guatemala to donate his surgical expertise to repair cleft lips and palates of less fortunate patients.
