Qualifications

Krishna S. Dash, M.D.

Dr. Dash is a board certified plastic surgeon in Colorado Springs. She is the only female plastic surgeon in the city. She prides herself in providing technologically advanced surgical procedures with a gentle touch to her patients.

Dr. Dash is trained in aesthetic surgery of the face and body, along with reconstructive surgery of the breast and body.

She completed her bachelors of arts degree from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. Afterwards, she entered one of the elite combined general surgery and plastic surgery residency training programs at Case Western Reserve University Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. At the completion of her training she chose to do a fellowship in plastic surgery at Summa Health Systems in Akron, Ohio to further advance her skills.

Dr. Dash then moved to Colorado Springs to start her plastic surgery practice. She spends a great deal of time with each patient to understand their particular needs and issues. Her genuine concern and ability to empathize with her patients makes them feel comfortable with the decisions they choose. Recognized as an outstanding member of the medical society in Colorado Springs, Dr. Dash currently holds the position of Section Chief of Plastic Surgery at Memorial Hospital.

Rupesh Jain, M.D.

Dr. Jain is a board certified plastic surgeon in Colorado Springs. He believes in the importance of establishing a strong doctor and patient relationship. He recognizes that only through an intimate understanding of an individual’s perspective and desires can a successful surgical outcomes be achieved.

Dr. Jain specializes in the areas of cosmetic surgery of the face and body contouring. He is constantly striving to be on the cutting edge of plastic and reconstructive surgery.

Knowing early on that he wanted to be a surgeon, Dr. Jain entered a 6 year B.S./M.D. program where he completed his bachelors degree in 2 years and directly entered medical school. He then went on to residency at The Ohio State University where he entered one the prestigious combined general surgery and plastic surgery training programs.

At the completion of his residency, he entered plastic surgery practice in Cleveland, Ohio. With a desire to relocate to a more scenic and adventurous city, he started a new practice in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Dr. Jain is member of the El Paso County Medical Society, Colorado Medical Society, and the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.
