George Lefkovits, M.D., F.A.C.S.

New York Plastic Surgeon Dr. George Lefkovits attended Georgetown University School of Medicine and Downstate Medical College. He completed his residency training at Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital and at Lenox Hospital where he served as Chief Resident in Plastic Surgery. He has served as an Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery at New York Medical College.

Dr. Lefkovits is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a member of many professional societies including: American Society of Plastic Surgeons, American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, New York Regional Society of Plastic and Reconstructive surgery, Lipoplasty Society of North America, Surgical Society of New York Medical College, New York County and New York State Medical Societies, and the New York Academy of Sciences. He has served as Secretary and President of the Semmelweis Scientific Society, and he has been a member of the Public Relations Committee of the New York County Medical Society. He has published in the Plastic Surgical literature and lectured at state, national and international meetings. He has served as an Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery at New York Medical College and is presently involved in the teaching program at Lenox Hill Hospital.

Dr. Lefkovits has been interviewed by many leading magazines and newspapers. He has appeared on Television And Radio shows including: Larry King Live Radio, Good Day New York, NBC Special "Life in The Fat Lane" with Connie Chung, FOX TV "Male Plastic Surgery", NBC TV "Live Demonstration Of Buttock Augmentation Using Fat Transplantation", RTL German TV "Buttock Augmentation Using Fat Transplantation", Baltimore Sun, San Antonio Express "Male Plastic Surgery", World Models Magazine "Liposuction", WCBS TV "Buttock Augmentation", TelemundoTV, and the Metrosource Magazine. He has lectured at College as well as several lay functions. Dr. Lefkovits is married and has four children.
