Gayoso Plastic Surgery

Dr. Gayoso was born in Gainsville, Florida and he completed his undergraduate education at Duke University and the University of Florida. His medical degree was completed at the University of Miami, Miami, Florida and his surgical training was completed at the Medical University of South Carolina, both in general surgery and plastic surgery.

Dr. Gayoso is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is an active member of The American Society of Plastic Surgeons and The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He is currently the Chief of Plastic Surgery at St. Anthony's Hospital and at Bayfront Medical Center. He is a member of The Florida Society of Plastic Surgeons is a recent past president of the Tampa Bay Society of Plastic Surgeons.

Dr. Gayoso established his plastic surgery practice in St. Petersburg, Florida in 1998. He has participated in Faith In Practice, an international goodwill mission providing plastic and reconstructive surgical care in Guatemala, and also has volunteered for Iraq Star, which provides reconstructive care to wounded war soldiers in the Gulf. Additionally, Dr. Gayoso is dedicated to breast reconstructive surgery for breast cancer patients. He has been on the Local Board for the American Cancer Society and participates in My Hope Chest, a charitable organization that provides breast reconstructive surgery for women without health insurance.

Dr. Gayoso's expertise includes cosmetic breast surgery and reconstructive breast surgery, cosmetic facial plastic surgery and non-surgical facial rejuvenation and body contouring. He incorporates good judgment, experience, advanced techniques and artistic vision with the belief that subtle, progressive rejuvenation and compassionate patient care will create beautiful results and satisfied patients.

Dr. Gayoso enjoys cycling, running, and triathlons. He loves attending soccer games, swim meets and piano recitals with his wife, Jodie and sons, Antonio Jr., and Samuel.
