Educational Background

After graduating magna cum laude as a double major in Mathematics and Physics at Dickinson College in 1981, Dr. Eric A. Marchant went on to receive a Doctor of Medicine degree at Temple University School of Medicine in 1985.

Residencies and Staff Positions

Dr. Eric A. Marchant began a general surgery residency at Polyclinic Medical Center in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and was soon accepted into a plastic surgery residency at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. After completing his plastic surgery residency in 1991, Dr. Marchant started his own practice and has established himself as a leading Philadelphia and Doylestown Bucks County plastic surgeon with staff privileges at Doylestown Hospital and the Doylestown Surgery Center in Warrington, Pennsylvania. He most recently was appointed Director of the Department of Surgery at Doylestown Hospital in 2007.

When he is not spending time with his wife and two children, Dr. Marchant enjoys swimming, digital media, sketching, and drawing. Dr. Marchant is also proficient in mathematics and holds a U.S. patent for a template which can create envelopes for any size card.
