The center houses a state licensed and federally certified ambulatory surgery center (ASC).

Our location is a self-contained operation, which includes state-of-the-art imaging equipment, examination, treatment and consultation rooms, as well as a state licensed, and federally certified ambulatory surgery center (ASC). The location also features a state of the art medical skin care clinic offering a complete array of skin care alternatives, nonsurgical skin treatments and permanent make-up, (chemical peels, permanent make-up, mild lasers and IPL (intense pulsed light) procedures for hair removal and treatment of facial sun damage and brown spots.)

Ambulatory Surgery Center
Sarasota Plastic Surgery Center is a state licensed and federally certified Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC). Our surgery center is dedicated to Plastic Surgery and addresses patient comfort, safety and privacy like no other practice in the region can. The ASC status requires us to meet or exceed over 2,000 stringent standards in environmental and life safety, risk management, quality assurance and emergency management procedures set forth by the U.S. government. The ASC licensure and certification is in effect, granted based on a strict adherence to all applicable standards of a major hospital. Each year the ASC must undergo a series of unannounced inspections and surveys by the federal and state governments to ensure adherence to these standards. Since the Sarasota Plastic Surgery Center opened, we have received commendation with no deficiencies on all of our annual inspections and surveys.
Patient comfort and safety are of a paramount concern at the Center. Consistent with our philosophy of exceeding accepted standards, the Center demands that only board certified physicians are utilized for the administration of anesthesia. Additionally our entire medical staff is fully certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support as an essential emergency management measure.

At Sarasota Plastic Surgery Center Medical Spa, our staff of physician assistants, paramedical estheticians, registered nurses and other physician-trained professionals work under the supervision of the plastic surgeon. They perform a range of services that were formerly only available in a purely medical setting. These include BOTOX® and dermal filler injections, minimally invasive laser and intense pulsed light, and spider vein and skin pigmentation treatments. All of our advanced treatments are safe and highly effective.
