Considered one of our regions leading cosmetic surgeons, he has served as both Chief of Surgery (1999-2001) and Vice Chief of Staff (2003-2005) at the Medical Center and was named by Metro Magazine to its list of "Best Doctors in our area." Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Dr. Levens is frequently quoted in the media and was selected as a Contributing Expert for the 2007 plastic surgery reference book, "Be Your Best." Dr. Levens was voted "Best Cosmetic Surgeon" in 2007 by readers of the local forum.
Because he believes an informed patient is one of the most important factors for a successful cosmetic surgery experience, Dr. Levens produces a bi-annual newsletter, hosts complimentary update seminars at regular intervals and writes a monthly column for our city's Life Magazine.

Dr.Levens impressed me from the first consultation. He was attentive listener and understud my problem precisely. I had more complicated situation than just cosmetic prosidure. I had a cyst on my ceek that had to be removed, while, of course ,I wanted to look my best afer the procedure. After very involved consultation, I felt assured that he has knowledge and skills to accoplishe the goals that we set for this surgery. Because I have had five other consultations with specialists before I went to Dr.Levens, and they all turn me down saying they will not do anything about my syst, I was relieved to know, that I was under care of someone that cares and is capable of finding the sollution. His staff has always been wery helpful, informative and in my reach whenever I needed support or had any questions. I was fully prepared for surgery and fealt confident throughout the whole process. I was wery satisfied with the outcome and will deffinetly recommend Dr. Levens services to my friends and family. My surgeon was perfect! I had almost zero bruising after the surgery, the proportion size was perfect, my doctor gave me full instructions before and after my surgery. Everyone in Dr. Levens office is extremely nice, and ready to help! I couldn't have asked for a better surgon and staff.
I was extremely anxious on the day of surgery, but Dr. Levens and the nurse at the center made me feel much better. Dr. Levens even called me the next day to make sure I was feeling ok and gave me his cell phone number in case I had any questions or issues. He was a wonderful surgeon and I'm extremely happy with the results!!! There are minimal scars, which will hopefully appear less as time goes on, but this was a wonderful experience that I would definitely recommend to anyone. Dr Levens was great! I couldn't say enough nice things about him and his group.
I loved everything about my experience, from the people to the facility. The staff were incredible and so was the surgeon. Everyone was extremely friendly and caring and always took the time to listen to you and answer all of your questions. I would go there again if there was anything else I wanted to do. I have already sent friends here, I loved it so much!! I am beyond words with how happy I am with the results of my surgery and am so glad I made the decision to have my breasts done, especially here.
Dr. Levens and his staff were very professonal and compassionate to my needs. The Dr. sympathized with me as to the reason I was choosing to have the procedure done and he evaluated me thoroughly to make sure that I was ready and mature enough to handle the outcome. He advised me to get on a diet and exercise program after the procedure to obtain the full results of what my goal was. I listened to him and am proud to report that I lost a total of 15 pounds and 23 inches of overall wieght and body fat. My confidence has increased to where I am very pleased with the outcome of my surgery. I look forward to going back in for a visit to show Dr. Leven the new me!!

The surgery came out exactly the way I had hoped
I feel very comfortable with the staff in Dr Levens office. I have a high regard of Dr Levens. He took in consideration my age and the surgery performed in the hospital. This made me feel secure and that I didn't have to discuss the situation with Dr Levens. I have come to Dr Levens for other procedures and for other members of my family. I am a walking advertisement for the doctor.I tell my friends that if they go to any other doctor they are out of their minds.

Dr. Levens and his staff are caring, friendly and highly competent. Dr. Levens takes as much time as needed to talk about the procedure before surgery and is excellent at what he does. The results are really amazing. His staff make you feel like you're part of a group of friends, not just another patient. I always look forward to office visits.
First off, Dr. Leven's and his staff are very professional and kind. They make you feel right at home and are always there if you have a question. Dr. Leven's has the best bedside manner. He listens to your concerns and explains in detail the whole procedure. He never rushes you out of the office and he is always there when you need him. I knew I could trust him and I felt completely comfortable pre-op and post-op. The results he gave me are amazing and have changed my life in so many positive ways. It was worth every penny and I look forward to him doing the finishing touches to a body that was once close to 300 lb....after I lost the weight he gave me an incredible tummy tuck and beautiful breast that I only dreamed of having. I consulted with a few doctors but apparently I saved the best for last...I suggest you do the same and you will not leave disappointed! Thank you doctor L and staff. Surgeon and staff were professional and courteous. Telephone access to the surgeon and staff was important to me and I felt that need was more than adequately met. Accomodating scheduling was also important me and they made it a breeze.
