Dr. Charles T. Slack will meet with you personally to discuss the pros and cons of the cosmetic plastic surgery procedures you are considering. Our support and encouragement will help you feel fully informed and confident throughout your experience with us. We are happy to serve the Allen, Texas area along with the surrounding cities of McKinney, Plano and Frisco.

Dr. Slack and his staff believe the patient comes first. Every effort is made to provide patients with timely and informative consultations. He meets personally with each patient during their initial consultation to discuss the pros and cons of the procedures he or she is considering.

Qualifications

Dr. Charles Slack completed his General Surgery residency at Parkland Memorial Hospital and his Plastic Surgery Residency at Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, DC. Following his plastic surgery residency he was accepted into the Georgetown Fellowship for Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery of the Breast. He is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery as well as the American Board of Surgery.

Dr. Slack graduated magna cum laude from Southern Methodist University. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology, and along with numerous awards was Phi Beta Kappa. He received his MD from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School.

Dr. Slack maintains privileges at Presbyterian Hospital of Allen, Medical Center of McKinney, Centennial Medical Center Frisco, The Surgery Center at Craig Ranch and Medical City of Dallas.

As the son of a local Methodist minister, Dr. Slack grew up in the Dallas area. Upon completing his training he practiced for several years in Bowling Green, Kentucky. However, Dr. Slack and his wife, Beth, wanted to raise their children near family and friends, so they returned to the Dallas area in 2001. "Our family is in the McKinney area and we felt drawn to come back home. " It is a wonderful place to raise children and practice medicine," notes Dr. Slack." I could not ask for a more welcoming and friendly patient population."

Dr. Slack maintained offices in both Dallas and Allen for several years. However, a growing family and a growing community led him to focus his attention on an expanding practice in the Allen /Frisco/ McKinney area. Like many people he grew tired of commuting to Dallas. "I want to provide patients in my own community with the same level of expertise available in Dallas without the drive," says Dr. Slack.

Dr. Slack provides a full range of plastic surgery procedures including: breast reconstruction, breast lift, breast reduction, breast augmentation, tummy tucks, liposuction, and facial aesthetic surgery. He also provides non-surgical treatments such as Botox and Restylane injections. An area of particular interest is post-mastectomy breast reconstruction.
