Hospital privileges have been granted at Sibley Memorial Hospital, Suburban Hospital, INOVA Fairfax Hospital, the Chevy Chase Surgery Center and Baltimore Washington Medical Center allowing for procedures to be performed at a range of well-respected accredited medical facilities.

Qualifications

Dr. Brown received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and his medical degree from Tulane University. Dr. Brown completed his five-year general surgery residency at Texas Tech University and followed this with a two-year plastic surgery fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.

Following this traditional plastic surgery training, Dr. Brown completed additional training during a one-year aesthetic surgery fellowship at the prestigious Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital. Under the tutelage of Drs. Sherrell J. Aston, Daniel C. Baker, David A. Hidalgo and Nicolas Tabbal, he performed the latest techniques in facial rejuvenation, body contouring and rhinoplasty.

During his surgical training he participated in several research studies and was published in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery as well as the Annals of Thoracic Surgery. He has also spoken at regional meetings and at teaching institutions.

His special interests include aesthetic (cosmetic) surgery of the face, nose and eyes; and breast surgery. Dr. Brown has been featured in local publications including Capitol File and the Maryland Gazette.

Dr. Brown is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, National Capital Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Northeastern Society of Plastic Surgeons and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
