Brett E. Stompro, M.D.

Brett E. Stompro, M.D. brings to the Bay Area a wealth of experience to the field of plastic surgery and specializes in aesthetic surgery. Dr. Stompro has a large private practice with offices in Danville, Hayward, Tracy and Livermore. All surgeries are performed in an accredited surgical facility with board certified anesthesiologists.

Dr. Stompro is an innovative plastic surgeon with 15 years of experience and took his training at the University of California. He is well qualified to perform a wide variety of procedures and is often called upon by colleagues to care for difficult problems.

Dr. Stompro has extensive experience in cosmetic surgery, trauma to the face and hands, skin lesions and breast surgery. Dr. Stompro is a member of many professional organizations including the AMA and the American College of Surgeons (Associate).

Born and raised in San Leandro, he earned recognition as a scholar-athlete and All-American Quarterback prior to graduating from high school. Dr. Stompro completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California, San Diego where he graduated at the top of his class.

Dr. Stompro went on to complete six years of training in General Surgery and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of California, Davis Medical Center. During his training, Dr. Stompro received special honors in surgery and research and was a frequent speaker across the nation at surgical meetings. Dr. Stompro has published a wide range of scientific articles in such publications as the Journal of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the Journal of Surgical Research.

Dr. Stompro and his wife Janice have three wonderful children and are active members of their community. They share a love of many outdoor activities including golf. Dr. Stompro is also an accomplished sculptor.

Chester K. Cheng, M.D.

Chester K. Cheng returns to the Bay Area with the training and experience that allows his cosmetic procedures to be artistic and pleasing to the eye.

Dr. Cheng was raised in the Bay Area, did his undergraduate training at the University of California, Davis. Using his Bachelors of Science degree in Biological Science he conducted ground breaking recombinant DNA research at the renound Genetech, Inc. Dr. Cheng is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon.

Pursuing his lifelong dream of becoming a physician, he received his Masters degree in Physiology and Doctorate of medicine from University of Health Sciences/Chicago Medical School in 1994. His extensive surgical training continued in Chicago for general surgery and plastic and reconstructive surgery at the prestigious Mount Sinai Medical Center and the Rush-Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center. He also completed a microsurgery fellowship at Davies Medical Center in San Francisco.

Following his extensive training he pursued his interest in teaching at Loma Linda Medical Center where he served as the Director of Student Education in the Division of Plastic Surgery, sharing his talents in microsurgery, reconstructive and cosmetic surgery to surgeons in training.

His attention to detail and passion for the art of cosmetic surgery motivated his move to the Beverly Hills Surgical Institute where he quickly earned a reputation for excellent results and compassion for his patients. Believing that the best results are those that are not overdone or extreme, he strives to achieve results that rejuvenate naturally and flatter and balance proportions artistically.

Dr. Cheng and his wife Frances have two sons and enjoy a close family life with relatives in the Bay Area. They participate in a number of charities in the surrounding communities.
