As Maryland's first true Medical Spa, we have more experience with the broad range of treatment options available than any other medispa or plastic surgery office. Dr. Summers envisioned a comfortable, spa-like environment in which his patients could contemplate the wide spectrum of facial and body enhancements options. His goal was to provide the full complement of treatment options, including highly effective medically supervised skin care products, non-invasive skin rejuvenation treatments, laser therapy, minimally invasive surgery, endoscopic cosmetic surgery, anti-aging treatments and major cosmetic surgery all under one roof.

Office
As you arrive at the Center, you may be surprised to see the unique artwork adorning the wall across from the reception desk. This is a canvas which was stretched to fit the curvature of the wall and custom framed in-place. The artwork itself is an original oil painted by one of Dr. Summers' patients.
The lobby is comfortably airy with an open alcove for small group seating. A lighted waterfall and ficus trees add to the ambiance as information is unobtrusively displayed on the plasma screen. Background speakers may be playing the sounds of the season or music from softer decades. The lobby is re pleat with literature about specific procedures and products - visitors are encouraged to take copies of any literature of interest. Two lighted display cabinets provide ample room for additional information and skin care products. Visitors may sample products with the supervision of our esthetic staff.
As you are escorted from the lobby to your personal consultation room or treatment room, you will appreciate the dimmed lighting and quite rooms. The spa-like atmosphere is accentuated with fragrant candles and fresh flowers. The consultation and treatment rooms have been designed to be comfortable while facilitating delivery of our high-tech cosmetic treatments.

Located just 15 minutes from Annapolis, Baltimore and Columbia, the Maryland Plastic Surgery Center is the first combined Medical Spa (Medispa), Cosmetic Surgery Center, and Cosmetic Dermatology Center in the region. Under the direction of Dr. Adam Summers, the Maryland Plastic Surgery Center and Medical Spa is a national leader in both minimally invasive cosmetic surgery and non-invasive skin rejuvenation. The Plastic Surgery Center: The Maryland Plastic Surgery Center is a licensed and accredited out-patient surgery center. Cosmetic surgery procedures at the Maryland Plastic Surgery Center include breast augmentation, liposuction, rhinoplasty (nose job), facelift, threadlift, tummy tuck, blepharoplasty (eyelid lift), and a variety of other cosmetic surgery procedures.
Meet Our Staff
Our core clinical staff is assisted by a group of certified estheticians who provide medical skincare services and administrative staff who are attentive to your needs. In addition to our full time clinical staff, a team of board certified anesthesiologists provide each surgical patient with a safe and comfortable experience.
Working in tandem, the staff at the Maryland Plastic Surgery Center are proud to offer our patients the full spectrum of cosmetic surgery and cosmetic dermatology in addition to the treatment of specific dermatological conditions and selected reconstructive services.
Rossie Madjaroff, PA is a physician assistant with extensive experience in general and cosmetic dermatology. She was raised in Europe, where she graduated from medical school and practiced dermatology in Bulgaria for 12 years. Upon relocating to the United States, Rossie obtained a degree to practice medicine as a physician assistant from Towson University. Under the direction of Dr. Summers, she receives on-going training in providing advanced, non-surgical cosmetic treatments. Rossie has a broad knowledge of dermatological conditions and has expertise in treating a variety of skin conditions. In respect of her European medical degree, many patients choose to fondly refer to her as "Dr. Rossie”.
Suzette Luethke, RN is a registered nurse with experience in clinical plastic surgery for over 10 years. She formerly worked at Shock Trauma in the intensive care unit taking care of critically injured patients. Under the direction of Dr. Summers, Suzette receives on-going training in cosmetic surgery and the delivery of non-surgical cosmetic treatments. As the supervising clinical nurse, Suzette is also responsible for ensuring patients have a comfortable and safe experience when arriving for surgical procedures at the Maryland Plastic Surgery Center.

"I have always been "shy" about my breast size...or lack there of...and had wanted implants from early on. After 3 children I still had no breasts and finally decided to "bite the bullet". I had my procedure done in May of 2005 at the Maryland Plastic Surgery Center and loved, loved, loved the results... A couple months ago (and 4 years after my initial augmentation) I noticed some almost immediate volume decrease in my left breast. I called Dr. Summers office and his staff promptly set me up an appointment to check it out. Within less than a week I was back on the table having my implant replaced (at no cost to me) and it had turned out to be a defect in the implant valve. Dr. Summers was as amazing with my replacement implant as he was with the initial implant...which concerned me initially as I wrongly assumed that since it was covered under the warranty that I would not be as much of a "priority" as "paying" clients. I was certainly wrong about that aspect as Dr. Summers was more than willing to resolve my issue as quickly as possible. I am contemplating liposuction or maybe a tummy tuck... When I decide to do it Dr. Summers will be my first choice!! For anyone out there contemplating a procedure...set yourself up a consult with Dr. Summers...you will walk out of his office with confidence in him as your surgeon as well looking forward to a date for your procedure...what are you waiting for?"
"Due to an accident on the highway, I arrived 45 minutes late for my appointment. However, both Dr. Summers and Rossie, his physician assistant, went out of their way to make sure I was able to still receive my treatment. The staff at Maryland Plastic Surgery Center display both a professional and courteous attitude, and are always willing to share their treatment or procedure experiences.
