Qualifications

Dr. Michael Milan was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, and completed his undergraduate degree and earned his M.D. at Indiana University. He completed a four-year residency, during which he was trained in general surgery at the Indiana University School of Medicine. He then trained for two years in the specialty of plastic surgery, also at the Indiana University School of Medicine.

Dr. Milan is Board Certified in plastic surgery, and is currently licensed to practice in Michigan and Indiana.

Dr. Milan has participated in research studies, and has been published in prominent medical journals, including the Aesthetic Surgery Journal, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Annals of Plastic Surgery.

He started out in private practice in Lexington, Kentucky, before joining Surgical Associates of Lexington. He then moved to Michigan to practice with Cosmetic Surgeons of Michigan before returning to private practice again in 1993. He has been a specialist in cosmetic plastic surgery for the past 23 years.
