True there are people who are happy with their appearance, but then there are individuals who feel their physical appearance needs an improvement. Then there are those who have had natural causing effects, such as age, weight gain, or pregnancy, and are looking for a way to restore their appearance. Unfortunately there are no guarantees in plastic surgery; the plastic surgeons do what they can to make improvements on a patient's appearance. "I would like to share a few thoughts with you regarding the wonderful care I received from Dr. Manish Gupta and his exceptionally great office staff.
One year ago, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I was fortunate, no lymph glands were involved and I had a pathology report from heaven. Although my left breast was negative, I was told by my surgeon that it was a time bomb waiting to go off in the next 2-3 years. We removed both breasts and my surgeon referred me to Dr. Gupta whom she felt was very skillful, and whom she said she enjoyed working with very much due to his very personable ways.
In April 2008, I had my first meeting with Dr. Gupta, and I was very impressed with his big smile, his kind ways, and how he went out of his way to answer my questions. No question was ever too much or not important. This meant a lot to me because here I was with no breasts, apprehensive, and frightened of looking and not feeling whole again. I thought to myself, I am in my 50's and he will think I am being a little vain and ridiculous to go the whole big surgical route which would take close to a year for completion with nipple and areola reconstruction. After all, I was not 30 or younger; however, to Dr. Gupta my feelings and desires of how I wanted to look again were all that counted. He was a rare jewel of a doctor to find! Dr Gupta and his nurse spent much time explaining the different kinds of implants, the pros and cons, and anything you can imagine to me. Their kindness, gentleness, and empathy made me feel as if they really knew what it felt like to me, undergoing these reconstructive surgeries. I felt they treated me the same as they would their own families.
In the hospital, Dr. Gupta was always there waiting for me in the pre-surgery area on those mornings of my surgeries, just to give me a smile and see if I had any new questions. With that cheerful face telling me I was going to be just great and he would see me in a little while, all of the fears of surgery were suddenly gone. I ended up with nicer breasts than I had to start!
Dr Gupta's offices, are both very inviting. There are movies to watch to inform you of the latest procedures and techniques. I actually enjoyed going for my re-visits as I could see the great progress being made, and because I enjoyed visiting with the office staff- they were a great team! They were always friendly, helpful, and no extra questions or needed assistance was too much for them. In summary, the staff at Dr Gupta’s was very kind, courteous, patient, and very professional. I think that they did a very good job with my surgery and breast implants. They were very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions and put my mind at ease. I would highly recommend Dr. Gupta and his staff to others who were considering such a procedure."
