In our culture, the way a woman views her breasts is often intimately intertwined with her self image and self esteem. This can often be improved through surgery.

Surgery, particularly plastic surgery, is a blending of art and science. The artistic aspect of breast surgery requires effective and detailed communication between the physician and the patient. The physician must then understand these goals and apply the proper variation of surgery in order to obtain the optimum outcome.

In my practice effective communication is stressed. Through this detailed communication I can truly learn what the patients’ desires are and the patient can learn the expected outcomes and limitations of surgery.
