Qualifications

Kenneth L. Arsham, M.D. is a native Clevelander. Born and raised in Cleveland's eastern suburbs, Dr. Arsham returned to Cleveland after completing his medical degree at Georgetown University, in Washington, D.C. He then completed his training, including a residency in General Surgery and a Fellowship in Plastic Surgery at the University Hospitals of Cleveland. He has been certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery since 1987.

He had an early interest in Laser Surgery and Medicine and began working with lasers in 1986. He then started the Laser Center at South Pointe Hospital (formerly Suburban Hospital) in 1991. In the 1990s he served as the medical director for the Meridia Hospital System Laser Program. He has lectured and taught Laser Surgery across the country since the early 1990s and maintains a Fellow status in The American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.

He has been the only Allopathic (M.D.) Chief of the Division of Plastic Surgery at South Pointe Hospital and has served in the capacity since 1990. He is also the immediate past Allopathic Chief of the Department of Surgery at South Pointe, serving from 2001 through 2003.
