Howard Gross, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Gross focuses his practice on cosmetic surgery, though he has provided our community with the full range of emergency and reconstructive surgery since 1993. He is renowned in his field, respected by his colleagues, and dedicated to his practice.

After graduating from the City University of New York, Dr. Gross earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois, simultaneously earning a master of science degree from the prestigious Medical Scholars Program.

He completed training including chief residency at both Loma Linda University for General Surgery, and the State University of New York for Plastic Surgery, and earned Board Certification in both General and Plastic Surgery. Dr. Gross then did a Fellowship in aesthetic surgery in Beverly Hills, CA. He also has training in microsurgery and laser surgery.

Dr. Gross is an active member and diplomate of the American Society of Plastic Surgery, and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He was Board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery in 1995 and recertified in 2005.

Dr. Gross was born and raised in New York City. He now lives in Santa Barbara with his wife and five children.
