Welcome to our Practice
Patients who undergo plastic surgery can look forward to gaining self-confidence and a sense of well-being from looking, feeling and functioning at their best. For those who wish to enhance their appearance, today's cosmetic procedures offer the opportunity to sculpt physical features and improve self-esteem. Meet Our Staff
Jennifer Miller - Office Manager/ Patient Coordinator:
Has been with Dr. Guba since 1998. She has her Bachelors in Biology. She enjoys cooking, hiking and spending time with her family, husband and daughter.

Shannon Bair- Patient Coordinator:
Has been with Dr. Guba since 2003. She has a degree as a medical assistant and is currently working on her bachelors in nursing. She enjoys rockclimbing, hiking, water sports and spending time with her family and son.

Qualifications

Dr. Alexander M. Guba attended The Johns Hopkins University and the University of Illinois School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. He trained in general surgery at The Johns Hopkins Hospital and the Walter Reed Army Medical Center. He completed the plastic surgery residency and fellowship at The Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in 1981.

Dr. Alexander Guba is board certified in general surgery and in plastic surgery. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He has been in the practice of plastic surgery in Baltimore since 1982. Dr. Guba specializes in facial rhytidectomies ( face lifts) and body sculpture using ultra sonic liposuction and suction assisted lipoplasty. He is an assistant professor at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda Maryland. He remains a member of the John Staige Davis Plastic Surgery Society of Maryland, of which he was President in 1994-1995, and a member of The American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons. Dr. Guba was listed in the Baltimore Magazine “Top Doc” issue in 1989.
