Glyn E. Jones, MD

In 2007 Dr. Glyn Jones was recruited by his former resident, Dr. Eric Elwood to join him at Illinois Plastic Surgery, a subsidiary of Peoria Surgical Group. In this role, he was able to serve the Susan G. Komen breast cancer center and was appointed full Professor of Surgery at the University of Illinois College of Medicine. Recognizing his contribution to Plastic Surgery in this country, the American Board of Plastic Surgery afforded him the special dispensation of writing the American Board examinations despite not having originally trained in this country. Dr. Jones passed the examination in the 99th percentile and is proud to be certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
