Afer graduating from UC Irvine with Honors, I attended medical school at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. Following a shortened general surgery residency at SUNY Health Sciences Center in NYC, I was immediately accepted into plastic surgery residency, also at SUNY.

After SUNY, I joined a team of plastic surgeons at UAB in Alabama, nationally renowned for our work in the introduction and application of endoscopy to plastic surgery. In addition to spending 5-years as an assistant professor of plastic surgery at UAB, I also have advanced training fellowships in breast surgery, as well as cosmetic, hand and microsurgery.
