Qualifications

Michael G. Parker, M.D.


Dr. Parker has more than 20 years experience as a plastic and reconstructive surgeon, treating both children and adults. He has shared his talents with children around the world as a volunteer with organizations like Operation Rainbow. In additional to his medical practice, he is a Clinical Professor of Plastic Surgery at Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine (NEOUCOM). He specializes in a variety of procedures, including cosmetic surgery of the face, breast, and post weight loss body contouring.

Douglas S. Wagner, M.D.


Dr. Wagner has more than 20 years experience in plastic and reconstructive surgery and has extensive expertise in breast reconstruction. His specific areas of interest include post-mastectomy breast reconstruction, post-partum rejuvenation and post weight loss body contouring. Dr. Wagner also currently serves as a Clinical Associate Professor of Plastic Surgery at Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine (NEOUCOM).

Dr. Wagner is involved in research regarding the safety of silicone gel breast implants, and refinements in procedures and techniques to avoid complications in breast reduction, breast reconstruction and breast augmentation surgery. He is a pioneer and instructor in the use of the Quill closure system.

John C. Pedersen, M.D.


Dr. Pedersen has more than 10 years experience as plastic and reconstructive surgeon and has extensive training in post weight loss body contouring. His special interests include breast rejuvenation, liposuction and abdominoplasty. Dr. Pedersen is currently an Instructor in Plastic Surgery at Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine (NEOUCOM).

Dr. Pedersen is a pioneer, and currently acts as director, of Summa Heath System's Post-bariatric Body Contouring Program. He is an instructor on the use of the Quill closure system and leader in its use for post-bariatric body contouring. He has been on the Board of Trustees at the Akron Art Museum for five years and currently serves as the Executive Vice President.
