Office

Welcome to our Office - We have been located at 2200 North Avenue, in Columbus Georgia since May 1979 at which time Dr. Thomas Cochran was the second plastic surgeon in the state of Georgia to have an accredited operating room on site.

Dr. Richard Wilson joined our practice in July 1983 and Dr. Sumanth Pagadala has been with us since June of 1999, having been in a solo practice since October 1988.

Our facility is certified by the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities, Inc. as a Class B Ambulatory Surgery Facility. We have two fully staffed operating room suites on site at the facility where 95% of our surgeries are performed.

We are conveniently located in the Medical Center and Doctors Hospital area.

Qualifications

Thomas A. Cochran, Jr., M.D.


Dr. Cochran received his BS degree from the University of Georgia in 1967 and completed his medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia in 1971. Training continued with a surgical internship and three year surgical residency at Baylor University Hospital in Dallas, Texas.

After completing a two year residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Dr. Cochran began practicing medicine in Columbus, Georgia. He has been in practice for twenty seven years. He is in practice with Dr. Richard H. Wilson and Dr. Sumanth Pagadala.

A board certified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon, Dr. Cochran is on the staff of St. Francis Hospital, Columbus Regional and Doctors Hospital.

Dr. Cochran has served on the board of directors of the Chattahoochee Council of Boy Scouts of America and currently serves on the board of the St. Francis Hospital Foundation.


Richard H. Wilson, M.D.


Dr. Richard Wilson received his B.S. and M.D. degrees from Oklahoma State University and Oklahoma University, respectively. He completed a general surgical residency in Birmingham, Alabama in 1981 and plastic surgery residency at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City in 1983. He has been in private practice in Columbus, Georgia since 1983 and earned his board certification in plastic surgery in 1987.

Dr. Wilson is a member of the Southeastern Society of Plastic Surgery, the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and ASAPS (American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons.

He is on the staff of St. Francis Hospital and Doctors' Hospital.

He enjoys practicing the entire scope of plastic and reconstructive surgery, but his practice has been more focused on aesthetic surgery over the past several years.


Sumanth Pagadala, M.D.


Dr. Sumanth Pagadala received his BS degree from Loyola University in Vijayawada, India and completed his medical degree from Osmania University in Hyderabad, India in 1968. He did a surgical internship at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Miami Beach, Florida and completed his chief residency in General Surgery at the University of West Virginia, (Charleston Division) in Charleston, West Virginia in 1975. In 1983, he completed his Plastic Surgery Fellowship at Fitzsimmons Army Medical Center in Denver, Colorado. Dr. Pagadala is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada as well as being a Diplomat of The American Board of Plastic Surgery.

He has practiced medicine in Columbus, Georgia for the past 15 years. He has been in practice with Dr. Richard H. Wilson and Dr. Thomas A. Cochran, Jr., for the past six years.

He holds staff positions at St. Francis Hospital and Doctors' Hospital.
