Carmen Kavali, M.D.

Dr. Kavali is a Georgia native who graduated from Mercer University School of Medicine. She then completed general surgery residency training at the University of Illinois in Chicago. Following this, she went on to complete her plastic surgery fellowship training at Wayne State University in Michigan.

She is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, the ONLY plastic surgery board recognized and accredited by the American Board of Medical Specialties.

Dr. Kavali has lectured on a variety of plastic surgery topics, including breast reconstruction, breast augmentation and reduction, breast lift, facial rejuvenation, and body contouring. She has presented her work at many national and international plastic surgery conferences and has had her work published in national medical publications.

Dr. Kavali's expertise and approachable style make her an excellent media resource, and she has been featured in numerous magazines, journals, and radio shows.

She is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Medical Association of Georgia, the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, the Medical Association of Atlanta, and the Atlanta Women's Medical Alliance. She has also been named one of "America's Top Plastic Surgeons" by the Consumers' Research Council of America for at least 3 consecutive years.

Dr. Kavali is on staff at Northside Hospital and the Center for Plastic Surgery, both fully accredited outpatient surgery centers. A board-certified anesthesiologist and Registered Nurses will ensure your utmost safety and comfort during and after your surgery.
