Testimonials

Testi "I went to the trendy Main Line for a breast augmentation. I got a breast augmentation all right! I had these huge bubbles (implants) above my nipples while my "real" breasts were still sagging. Then within 2 weeks I had a deflation of my left implant. Because I still had some excess skin, the doctor replaced the size C implants with D implants; all of this at my cost, and I still looked deformed. I then went to the library and did research on this doctor and found out he was not Board certified in plastic surgery. When I researched Dr. Genter's credentials, I learned that he had fifteen plus years of experience (at that time) and he is Board certified by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. Dr. Genter, he told me the truth and recommended a full breast lift. He wanted me to have the look I wanted by using the proper procedure. I was very impressed with Dr. Genter's honesty and expertise. I had the breast lift and I am very happy. I have been back for several procedures and have complete faith in Dr. Genter. The moral of my story is-Don't go with trendy go with experience and credentials. "

Testi "Laser resurfacing was a gift to "me, myself and I"! Am I glad to have had it done? Yes, Yes, Yes! I first heard of Dr. Genter while watching the health segment of the television evening news. His message caught my interest and prompted me to call and make an appointment for a complementary consultation. Not wanting a full-face lift, laser resurfacing was suggested. To summarize the procedure-"it is a beam of laser energy used to vaporize the upper layers of damage skin. New cells form during the healing process and a smoother, tighter, younger looking skin surface appears".

Dr. Genter reviewed this procedure with me, and his Patient Care Coordinator showed me the actual step-by-step photographs of various patients who had opted for laser resurfacing. The pictures were not "pretty but the end results were dramatic and wrinkles and years rolled away! When I mentioned that I was considering having laser resurfacing to my husband, his comment was "I like you just the way you are!" Fortunately, he knew that I had already decided, and he was there for me, lending his full support. From the very beginning, I was given specific information regarding pre-surgical instructions and post-surgical care and expectations. The medical staff was very thorough, and nothing was left to chance. I was also advised to bring a big hat to wear home and to avoid looking in a mirror following my surgery.

My procedure was performed in Dr. Genter's office-based surgical suite; I was given medication which kept me comfortable-at no time did I feel any pain. Post-surgical care involved keeping my face covered with protective ointment (no bandages). My face was moderately swollen which was to be expected. To be honest, when I returned home I did glance in the mirror. Oh my, I looked like a Halloween "monster". It was then and there that I wondered why I had gone through with this!! Now here comes the good part! True to what I had been told, in approximately ten days, I began to see the "new me". Yes, my face was a rosy pink; eventually the blush began to fade and diminish with each passing week-about three months. During one of my post-surgical follow-up visits I was treated to a complimentary "make over; the works-foundation, eye shadow, powder, lipstick. That was fun!!

Today I sensibly protect my face from the sun. I am now using some very good cosmetics and have chosen to visit the office regularly to relax and enjoy some of the new techniques offered to "protect my investment". Bottom line is: I am 70 years old-in the "youth of my old age"-I am not a vain individual, but I did not like those wrinkles from sun damage and age. Resurfacing has given me a "lift".

I wish I had heard of Dr. Genter when I was younger! A big plus-I have made some new friends too. The employees at the Center have become very special to me and my life has become much richer, not only because of the resurfacing, but because of the relationships formed. I will always keep in touch with my doctor and his staff. "

Testi "Dear Dr. Genter,

I was recommended to you by Dr. A. for liposuction surgery last spring. Although it was something many people did not think I needed, I wanted to do it for myself. I was very unhappy with the way my clothes were starting to fit and I knew that dieting was not an option. I wasn't overweight, I was just unhappy with the way I looked as you said to me on many occasions, it was more of a "tune-up" than anything else. Well, on May 23, 2001 I went ahead with the surgery and must say that the "tune-up" worked. The results I got were wonderful and I thank Dr. A. everyday for recommending you to me! It has been over 5 months and I cannot even explain how happy I am with the results.

I went down almost 2 full dress sizes and my trouble spots are gone. I love shopping now, getting dressed up, and especially love the compliments I have been receiving since the surgery. Not even 2 months after my surgery, I was able to get into a bikini and go to the beach for the first time since senior year in high school.

Again, I want to thank you and also your staff for the pleasure of feeling so welcome in your office. Feel free to give my name and number again as a contact in the future for prospective liposuction patients. I would be happy to speak with anyone considering having you perform his or her liposuction surgery. Warmly, "
K.
