"I'm following up via email as requested. The military decided they wanted to measure me today (Monday), so we did that and the measurement was just fine; I was well within what I needed. In fact, I measured in at 35 inches around the waist whereas I was 39-41 depending beforehand. I know you're away right now handling some unfortunate family emergencies, and I wish you the best with that. For what it's worth; you've made a very big, and cost-effective change in my life, and I wanted to be sure to say thank you for it again. I now await to see if the military will discipline me for getting the surgery (technically I'm not supposed to), but that's out of all of our hands. I have a feeling it will be fine, but in any case; I've got a body now that will keep me more mobile, motivated, and overall healthier than before, which is priceless.
