Testimonials

Testi "Dear Waldorf Staff, In advance of my surgery, I want to thank you for your kindness in putting up with what is sure to be a nervous patient. Every member of the staff has been friendly and professional since day one! It’s true that I would love to achieve results without the journey, but if I have to take the journey, I’m glad it’s with all of you!"

Testi "Dr. Waldorf and Staff, I want you all to know how grateful I am for your wonderful care and expertise. I really have a trust and confidence in all of you. It’s exciting and life changing in so many ways to go through this awesome transformation. I’ve watched SO MANY plastic surgery shows over the years and secretly hoped and dreamed for this, but never really believed I would lose enough weight or have this opportunity to reverse some of the damage that I’ve done to my body. For this journey, I thank God for my personal trainer who helped me believe in myself, for leading me to Drs and Nurses with the talents and skills to help me fulfill my dreams, and of course for home equity and a supportive husband. From My Heart, Thank You, Thank You, Thank You."

Testi "Dr. Waldorf, I just wanted to take a few moments to be specifically thankful for the gifts God has given you in helping people. In a surgery that can produce apprehension and fear, your demeanor gave assurance and confidence. Thanks for your professionalism and for being personable -- it was noted and appreciated. I have been more than happy with my results, and I believe your art form is phenomenal! Your ability to read our desires and translate that into your perfect idea is truly awe inspiring!"

Meet Dr. Shannon O'Brien

Dr. Shannon P. O'Brien is a Portland plastic surgeon, dedicated to providing safe, effective, cutting-edge aesthetic and reconstructive surgery that is personalized to her patients' individual needs. In January 2010, Dr. O'Brien became a board-certified member of The American Society of Plastic Surgeons.

Dr. O'Brien enjoys sitting down and getting to know her patients. By taking the time to truly hear each patient's concerns and goals and giving an honest evaluation, Dr. O'Brien strives to build relationships with her patients based on trust. This unhurried approach is ultimately the key to a satisfied patient.

Dr. O'Brien graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology. She then obtained her Doctorate of Medicine at the University of Texas School of Medicine at San Antonio. While in medical school, she served as her class President, and was elected into the esteemed Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.

Dr. O'Brien then went on to complete a highly sought after 6-year integrated residency program in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. She also obtained additional aesthetic surgical training in Miami, Florida from Drs. James Stuzin and Tracey Baker.
