Richard R. Hawrylo, M.D.

Dr. Richard Hawrylo is a board-certified plastic surgeon specializing in cosmetic surgery of the face, breast and body. Popular procedures include breast augmentation, reduction and lifting; face, neck and brow lifts; eyelid surgery, rhinoplasty, tummy tucks, body lifts, and body sculpting with liposuction.

He also has a specializes in rejuvenation with Botox, injectable fillers, fat injections, chemical peels and laser skin rejuvenation. As an admired plastic surgeon, his wealth of experience and knowledge of time-tested and cutting-edge plastic surgery procedures allows him to tailor each cosmetic procedure to the unique anatomy and desires of each patient. David J. Lange, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. David Lange feels that cosmetic surgery should be natural in appearance as it enhances the beauty of the patient. He is a caring and artistic plastic surgeon, extensively trained in both cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Lange specializes in cosmetic surgery of the face and body.

A graduate of New York University and the UAG Medical School, Dr. Lange has distinguished himself with five years of training in general surgery at St. Barnabas Medical Center followed by a plastic surgery residency at St. Louis University. He then completed his cosmetic training with renowned plastic surgeon, Dr. Robby Meijer. His areas of expertise include facelift, brow lift, neck lift, and rejuvenation of the eyelids, permanent lip, and cheek and chin enhancement and facial contouring.

Dr. Lange’s most requested cosmetic procedures for the body are breast augmentation, liposuction, breast lift and reduction and abdominoplasty or “tummy tuck”. Time and attention is taken during all consultations so that individual questions and concerns can be appropriately addressed. Dr. Lange reveals potential results to clients by reviewing before and after plastic surgery photographs and utilizing hi-tech computer imaging.

Dr. Lange has served as the chairman of the Department of Plastic Surgery at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey, and is an accredited member of many top-tier professional associations such as those listed below.

Dr. Lange is very active in humanitarian and charitable organizations here in New Jersey and abroad, giving children with birth defects a chance for normal lives. One of his passions is helping infants and children born with facial birth defects such as cleft lip and cleft palate, ear deformities and other facial abnormalities, leading or participating in procedures to provide the child with a life-changing transformation. Dr. Lange has been on the team of physicians at the St. Barnabas Regional Craniofacial Center in Livingston, New Jersey since he began his practice with The Peer Group. He has also participated in many trips to foreign countries to help children and families in need of this type of surgery. El Salvador was the first and most memorable of his trips. His team was able to help 136 patients over a week’s time. He has also traveled to Guatemala, Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama, Bosnia and Thailand.

Outside of his busy plastic surgery practice, Dr. Lange enjoys the outdoors, most notably hiking, mountain climbing, camping and skiing (which is his favorite). Exercise and fitness are an important part of Dr. Lange’s daily routine, and as an active lifestyle proponent, he has shared this interest with many of his patients, incorporating its benefits into their post surgery regimen to help them transform not only their bodies but also their lives.

Dr. Lange was drawn to plastic surgery during his general surgery training, where he was introduced to reconstructive surgery. He feels that reconstructive surgery impacts peoples’ lives, alleviating their suffering and making their life worth living. Dr. Lange wanted to have a positive impact in his professional work and knew then that the artistic side of plastic and reconstructive surgery would provide that rewarding opportunity.

Isaac Starker, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Isaac Starker is a talented plastic surgeon whose technical knowledge and artistic eye combine to achieve stunning yet natural appearing results here at The Peer Group. As part of his thriving practice, Dr. Starker performs the full spectrum of cosmetic and reconstructive procedures, specializing in cosmetic surgery of the face, breast and body, including breast augmentation, reduction and lifting; face, neck and brow lifts; eyelid surgery, rhinoplasty, tummy tucks, body lifts, and body sculpting with liposuction. He is trained in the latest surgical techniques and in the use of state-of-the-art technology, including lasers, endoscopy, ultrasound and computer imaging.

Dr. Starker’s surgical philosophy is based upon the premise that successful plastic surgery is a collaboration between patient and surgeon. He carefully schedules his patients to ensure that he has ample time to meet with each person, to observe, examine, and listen before performing surgery that meets the patients’ wishes, and achieves their desired result. As part of a typical consultation, he may also suggest non-surgical treatments including a skin care program, Botox®, injectable fillers such as Juvéderm®, laser, or intense pulsed light treatments. Current and former patients are a frequent source of new referrals, as are fellow medical professionals who have seen his beautiful natural results.

Community service and leadership are another extension of Dr. Starker’s medical practice. He served as President of the New Jersey Society of Plastic Surgeons in 2005, and as President of the medical staff of Morristown Memorial Hospital in 2008 and 2009. He has served as a member of the Board of Trustees of Atlantic Health System from 2008 to 2010 and was recently elected Vice Chairman of the Department of Surgery of Morristown Memorial Hospital. Over the course of his career, Dr. Starker has volunteered his services as a team member with Healing the Children, providing life-altering reconstructive surgery to children in Kenya, El Salvador, Ecuador, and Thailand; and for many years served on his local Board of Health.

A Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Starker earned his undergraduate and medical degrees from New York University and completed his general surgery training at St Lukes-Roosevelt Hospital and his plastic surgery residency at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and maintains memberships in numerous professional societies.

Francisco G. Colón, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Francisco Colón is a dedicated and experienced plastic surgeon able to expertly perform all cosmetic surgery procedures of the face, breast and body. He has special interest in facial rejuvenation including facelift, eyelid lift, brow and neck lift and the use of Botox and injectable fillers like Juvéderm. He has also become one of New Jersey’s most respected plastic surgeons and as such is very often referred as a top surgeon choice for breast reconstruction surgeries, applying both artistic and flawless technical skills to provide his reconstruction patients the quality of a normal life following their breast cancer surgeries and additional treatments.

Dr. Colón is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and belongs to multiple top-level professional organizations. He earned his medical degree at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and went on to join The Peer Group in 1995 after completing his plastic surgery training and fellowship at the Harvard Medical School. Dr. Colón came by his work quite naturally, growing up observing his father, a respected surgeon in Puerto Rico. Dr. Colón was drawn to plastic surgery because of the artistic, creative and technical qualities of this field of medicine. Patients find Dr. Colón to be a focused and exacting practitioner whose goal is to work in conjunction with the patient to achieve the best possible result.

Dr. Colón currently serves as the Chief of the Section of Plastic Surgery at Morristown Memorial Hospital in Morristown, New Jersey. In addition to his leading role of that organization, Dr. Colón maintains a dedication to charitable work. He has participated as a volunteer surgeon with the Healing the Children organization in a mission to Thailand to help children with congenital deformities.

In his spare time, Dr. Colón enjoys skiing and golf and joins his wife in cheering on the hockey, lacrosse, football and soccer achievements of their three children.

Dr. Colón says, “In plastic surgery, we are usually trying to reconstruct a particular problem, whether it is related to cancer, trauma, or just aging. There is nothing more gratifying than seeing what you can do with your hands and your imagination.”
