I thought you might be curious about how a fellow with fancy Ivy League and Stanford credentials ended up in the modest suburban community of San Leandro. In 1978 I completed a six-year Plastic Surgery residency program at Stanford and moved across the bay to begin my careeer in the East Bay.

In addition to cosmetic surgery, my early practice included a large proportion of hand surgery and other reconstructive surgery. I served as Chief of Surgery and President of the Medical Staff and continue to serve as the Chief of the Division of Plastic Surgery at Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley and San Leandro California. I traveled to Latin America, Polynesia and Asia to provide cleft lip and palate repair for local children.

As my surgical experience and skills grew and matured, my lifelong interest in art and beauty naturally led me more and more toward the sophisticated and demanding field of cosmetic plastic surgery that is now the central focus of my practice.
