Dr. Sal Ashruf has trained at prestigious medical institutions in the United States and has learned from surgical mentors from Brazil and all over the world. He attended the Medical College of Ohio where he was inducted into the honorary society Alpha Omega Alpha. He then performed an integrated plastic surgery residency available only to the top U.S. medical students. Dr. Ashruf then performed additional training in aesthetic, breast and oculoplastic surgery at the Center for Advanced Surgical Aesthetics in Birmingham, Alabama. He has also held an academic appointment at the University of Alabama Birmingham. Dr. Ashruf is a caring, compassionate doctor and the proud father of three children.

In addition to my plastic surgical training, I have received additional training in breast surgery, both cosmetic and reconstructive as well as orthopedic hand surgery and participate with most insurance plans.
