Dr. Mustoe received both his college and medical degrees from Harvard University with honors. He completed his otolaryngology and plastic surgery residencies at Harvard teaching hospitals (Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary and Brigham and Women's Hospitals). He has coauthored more than 200 articles and book chapters, and lectured nationally and internationally on subjects of facial cosmetic and breast surgery, techniques of aesthetic surgery and abdominoplasty.
Meet Dr. Mustoe
Thomas A. Mustoe, MD, FACS is a board certified Plastic Surgeon, by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and is also board certifiend by the American Board of Otolaryngology, having completed residencies in both specialties. Dr. Mustoe received both his college and medical degrees from Harvard University with honors. He completed his otolaryngology and plastic surgery residencies at Harvard teaching hospitals (Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary and Brigham and Women's Hospitals). He has coauthored more than 200 articles and book chapters, and lectured nationally and internationally on subjects of facial cosmetic and breast surgery, techniques of aesthetic surgery and abdominoplasty. He has been named to multiple best doctor lists locally and nationally, and has appeared numerous times on television. He currently serves on mutiple editorial boards for plastic surgery and surgical journals, and is a scientific advisor to the FDA and previously to National Cancer Institute. He is currently Professor and Chief of the Division of Plastic Surgery at Northwestern University. Dr. Mustoe clinical practice is focused on aesthetic surgery of the face, nose and breast, and he also mantains an interest in breast reconstruction, and body contouring.
