Each surgeon at Plastic Surgery Center of the South is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. This is the only board recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties to certify doctors in head-to-toe plastic surgery. In addition to their board certifications, Dr. Musarra, Dr. Leake, and Dr. Petrosky continue to advance their education and give back to the community through charitable work and participation in a number of medical societies.
E. Anthony Musarra, II, M.D.
E. Anthony Musarra, II, M.D. is a well-known and highly respected Atlanta plastic surgeon. He is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and has over thirty-two years experience specializing in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. A graduate of the Medical College of Georgia, Dr. Musarra completed his internship and surgical residency at Georgia Baptist Medical Center. While at the St. Joseph's Hospital in Houston, Texas, Dr. Musarra completed a residency in plastic surgery.
Dr. Musarra actively participates in both educational and legislative activities in the medical community. He is past president of the Georgia Society of Plastic Surgeons, Cobb County Medical Society, and past chairman of the Department of Plastic Surgery at Kennestone Hospital. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. Dr. Musarra is involved in several professional organizations as well as being a participant in the 1998 Medical Association of Georgia Legislative Board.
Proud grandfather of two, Dr. Anthony Musarra loves spending time with his grandchildren or sharing their photographs. He also enjoys golfing with his friends, snow skiing, hiking and best of all relaxing at the beach. His best advice ever received was "work hard and treat people with great respect" something he has continued throughout his years in practice as an Atlanta plastic surgeon.

James E. Leake, M.D.
James E. Leake, M.D. has over twenty-three years of cosmetic and reconstructive experience. Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Dr. Leake is highly respected among his peers. A graduate of Michigan State University, Dr. Leake completed his internship at Butterworth Hospital and his general surgery residency at St. Mary's Hospital and Blodgett Hospital in Michigan. While at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Lukes Hospital in Chicago, Dr. Leake completed a fellowship in plastic and reconstructive surgery and hand surgery.
Dr. Leake had medical appointments as clinical instructor for plastic and reconstructive surgery at Rush Medical College, as well as Michigan State University in general surgery. He has served as past president of Georgia Society of Plastic Surgeons and chairman of the Department of Plastic Surgery at Kennestone Hospital. Dr. Leake is an active volunteer in Rotoplast International, which sponsors medical mission trips providing reconstructive surgery on indigent children. Dr. Leake actively participates in several medical societies including American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, American Society of Plastic Surgeons, Cobb County Medical Society, and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. James Leake enjoys the outdoors; biking, racquet sports and golf are just a few of his hobbies. Taking family vacations with his wife and three children are also important. However, a true passion of this Atlanta plastic surgeon is the volunteer work he does overseas with an organization called Rotoplast International. Helping children with birth defects is a rejuvenating experience.

Michael Petrosky, M.D.
Michael Petrosky, M.D. is well respected in the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery. With over nineteen years of experience, he is double board certified by both the American Board of Plastic Surgery as well as the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Petrosky is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh Medical School. He completed his general surgery residency at Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh. While attending Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, Dr. Petrosky completed his plastic surgery residency.
Dr. Petrosky is the recipient of several grants and awards in addition to being named "Most Valuable Player" University of Pittsburgh varsity gymnastic team. He is an active participant in community, civic and business organizations and societies; as well as being a recent Chief of Plastic Surgery at Kennestone Hospital. Dr. Petrosky is well trained in the latest state of the art surgical techniques, attends various conferences to keep current and to investigate new procedures while striving for excellence in patient care. As an Atlanta plastic surgeon, he is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery, Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Georgia Society of Plastic Surgery, Medical Association of Georgia, American College of Surgeons, and Cobb County Medical Society.
Spending time with his wife and 4 daughters at the beach is how Dr. Michael Petrosky most enjoys spending time away from the office. Other hobbies include tennis, jogging, gardening and the love of the theater. Named one of Atlanta's Top Doctors by Atlanta Magazine, Dr. Petrosky says "it is nice to see that we can help people feel better about themselves, that is why I went into medicine."
