Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Steven S. Carp, M.D., F.A.C.S., has specialized in cosmetic, plastic and reconstructive surgery since 1993. Having completed his undergraduate studies and graduating with honors from Michigan State University, Dr. Carp went on to earn his medical degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan in 1987.
He completed six years of General Surgery training at the University of Texas Medical Branch, including a Post Doctoral Fellowship in Wound Healing Research at the Shriners' Burns Institute in Galveston, Texas. After serving as Chief Resident in General Surgery at the University of Texas, Dr. Carp received his specialty training in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
