I used Jolivette and its the same thing. I never had a period until I changed BC. Make sure you take it within the same 3 hour time frame though otherwise it is not effective

Oh I like the new period thing. I started spotting so I figure now is the time to start it. Did you have any weird side effects? Weight gain, head ache, dizzy, or anything else? Thanks for your info. Like I said they want me to pay the $600 for the IUD upfront, and I just dont want to w/o knowing if I will like it.

I was on Micronor for a while - I spotted right through it all the time and you HAVE to take it at the exact same time every day - 1/2 hour off and you will spot.

Not a fan...

I remember trying it, but I am not a consistent person and don't keep a schedule, so it was ultimately not a good choice for me.

I loved my IUDs, until they decided they wanted out of me Nothing to remember or do. My insurance covered it, but even if it didn't the cost of birth control pills every month definately was more expensive in the long run.

Can you use a Medical Flex Spending Plan through work? It makes it tax-free and helps defray the cost over the course of the year since your get the funds up front, but then it comes out of your paycheck during the year. Just a thought since its open enrollment time for a lot of people.
