My DH and are going to Malaysia the first week in December to check the job/city/schools, etc. Eeeeek! At this point, I think my DH is the only candidate they're considering so if we like it I think we move.

I got my copy of Culture Shock (I think Expat recommended it?) in the mail the other day, will be pouring over it the next few weeks!

WOW!!!! So excited for you! Wish I could take the credit,but it wasn't me that recommended the Culture Shock!

That's where I am Artemis! I feel like even with all the struggles it will take, that if we don't we'll regret it in 20 years. I'm a total optimist and am not worried about the little things, I have faith they'll work out. My DH is my opposite, we compliment eachother well

You won't find any 36DDDs in Asia

What an awesome opportunity! Try to find some other Americans abroad whom you can talk to about their experiences. Does the company have others there they can hook you up with?

Holy crap, just got our itinerary. We are literally going around the world. Leaving here, through Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur. When we leave, we go to Tokyo then across the Pacific!

It's 8 hrs to Amsterdam, then another 12 from there to KL!! We leave Amsterdam at noon and get in at 6:45 AM Sunday. Think there'll be some jetlag? We'll spend 2 nights on a plane.
