"I never got a chance to thank you for the help I recieved from you back in January of 1985. Gratitude for your work on my hand has been with me throughout the past years. During that night on January 20, 1985, fear raced through me at the thought of never again doing what I loved: playing football. I believe, through the grace of God, you and many others were put into my life to help me along. Since that time, I was able to go to college and graduate in secondary education. I played footbal for five years at BYU without any limitations in my left hand. I signed with the New York Giants and was released in 1990. Today I am a teacher and football coach in Salt Lake City. I just wanted to say thank you and let you know I appreciate what you did for me. Thank God I don’t play the guitar, because I still have very limited dexterity. Other than that, my hand is in no way limiting. Thanks again."
