Artistic plastic surgery precision
begins with understanding your needs.
If you've ever thought of having plastic surgery, you have a lot of questions. Until now, the only way to get them answered directly by a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon was to take hours out of your busy day going in to a doctor's office for an awkward and often embarrassing consultation. And even then, you can spend very little time with the doctor!
"At the Virginia Center for Plastic Surgery , we believe that "taking care" of the patient begins the moment you contact our office. We realize that with today's hectic lifestyles, your time and energy is precious. That is why we are committed to doing everything we can to make every interaction with our practice a pleasant, efficient, and personal experience. We value you as a patient, but more importantly, we treat you like a person."
Dr. Desman regularly appears as a guest plastic surgeon on "New Me Medical Interviews", which can be seen on CNN, FOX News, Bravo, and Discovery Health. Below are the videos of these appearances.

A Comfortable and Private Office Environment
Our office is modern and tasteful to provide you with a homey, comfortable environment. When you enter our waiting room, you will find a wall-mounted fountain which will instantly make you feel relaxed and welcome. We have designed the office to honor your privacy. The waiting area is separate from the patient meeting area so that you will not come into contact with other patients while you are here.
For your convenience, our office is located near the DC Metro Blue Line so you will not have to worry about fighting traffic, finding parking, or paying for meters when you arrive for your office visit.
A Commitment to Patient Education
We consider patient education to be an important part of your procedure, and Dr. Desman will always take the time to address all of your concerns and goals in depth. Your patient education will begin at your initial consultation, which will last between 30-45 minutes. At this time, Dr. Desman will explain every facet of your desired plastic surgery procedure to you in great detail, discussing both benefits and risks. We will also show you online animations of your procedure to provide a more visual explanation. You will have an opportunity to ask us any questions you may have so that you gain a thorough understanding of what is involved in your procedure before deciding to move forward.
We also encourage you to take advantage of our Patient to Patient Network, which gives you the opportunity to talk directly with past patients who have undergone your desired procedure. These patients can provide you with a unique perspective on what you can expect based on their first-hand experiences. Our doctors will not be present for this conversation in order to ensure that our patients feel comfortable giving completely honest opinions.
